Crepes, a King’s Delight
Crepes are a timeless classic and indeed a King’s delight. Originating from Belgium the delicacy is now available in a whole soiree of toppings at Strangers at 47 just off the old Banana Leaf Rice place in section 17… The banana leaf rice may be a classic for those old enough to have dawned its establishment those many years ago, but unfortunately today is a day for the infamous Belgian Specialty.
I have sampled a few some of their decadence in the breakfast platter, the buttermilk chicken crepe and the Salmon filled induced goodness, right off the top of my head, but what does stand out is that it reminds me of living in London, where said delicacy would be easier to get a hold of. Strangers at 47 may be a relatively new eatery but it has been well worth the wait, laying in hibernation for so many years has left me with a taste for the Crepe-Specialty restaurant.
The food itself is no short of sheer splendor, where my favorite for the time being does seem to be the buttermilk chicken crepe, and the best thing? Crepes are not the only thing on the menu. You will find an assortment of other protein induced exquisiteness with whole chickens served out with a variety of branded juices and assorted thirst quenchers to go along with your brunch favored meal, one would never be left reeling, and wanting more.
A Belgian Delight with sheer and utter exemplification to replenish the soul after a good morning job or workout is how to best enjoy the nourishment awaiting you on a hot, tired Malaysian morning.
