How to stay in tip top shape while travelling?

So I am not exactly on a holiday but there is just something about skiving off from my part-time gig to take a day out for some exercise. And, this is new this fresh this is hip and this is quick. So, think about it… what would you like to take in while you are away in some foreign destination, simply lounging around, to make your latest acquaintance with the local scene. Clubs, film societies, local football, theme parks are all quintessential in a decent faraway.

So how about take in something a little different and change the route and scenery a little, after all it is a holiday and in a different sense nothing better do anyway. Try a bike ride in Copenhagen or a tram ride at Universal Studios — anything which requires a little more physical effort earns you brownie points in this very easy but guarantees you that holiday tan you have always been dreaming of getting.

Let’s say money is the issue? Try taking in the sites in Pan Asia completely on foot, a treasure hunt or a tuk tuk ride for economics sake yields great results as well. I guarantee it. The sites are majestic and the road less travelled is invigorating, and let’s not forget the local brew, of which I have mentioned many times on this blog.

Contrary to many belief systems one beer a day is actually good for you, think of your metabolic rate and start to readjust to eating a little less before you lose weight and start eating normally again. That beer you have taking in the sites while on your tri-weekly to weekly jog round the block and/or park, will then require the yeast from last nights lager. And so, now you have the framework of a better holiday LIVED out. It will keep your spirits high while on the go. I am sure the service apartment you are living at will also have a gym… but nothing wrong with killing two birds with one stone.
