Sauce Like it Hot?

So I walk into my favorite coffee joint right near where I live, dreaming of my soon-to-be great European Escape in May. Yes, I will be traveling and making a mockery of Spanish Football, while I am at it. Football, really? Here is why I would have a dig… because just like every culture in the world there are similarities in what we as a homegrown people do for fun and as leisure for everyday. We watch films, we watch football, we eat and drink local delights and decadent foods all while we wash it all down with a local brew or caffeinated indulgence. But, on this day I noticed a long line of Lea & Perrins bottles half full and mostly consumed and thought to think to myself; what are the most popular condiments on this side of the globe?

My point is this and it is very simple. There is Lea & Perrins, there is tobascco sauce and and even Nando’s Peri Peri Sauce or just Peri Peri Sauce in general. All these flavors have a unique take on the evening time meal, which enhances the flavors of the meals prepared for our delectable evening ahead. But, stop to think now… that there is another, underrated and often forgotten enhancement. It is not called Ketchup(unless in the states) but Tomato Sauce… like a proper fancy meal time favorite. The commoner of all sauces is on my list today of the greatest, aforementioned condiments and surely an all time classic. Surely the best and most versatile of food dressings. Do take the time to acknowledge this, for even I the proprietor of said notion is dumbfounded by this notice. Could you imagine? Tomato SAUCE!!
