Three scripts all complex narratives in the light of 3-act structure. In many ways just typical but in no way simple to accomplish. Still, I like how simple this sounds, as you say, “ One of the main advantages of a revenge movie for a screenwriter is how clear cut everything is: Good Guy. Bad Guy. Crime. Justification for retribution. And off you go.” Still I have committed to 120 pages 3 times and none of them were easy and I think the main beef I would have with a revenge story is in keeping each and every scene relevant to the plot.
