Seven Heaven — Tujoh, Section 17
There comes a time in everyone’s life where you begin to question the nature of the universe, and when that time comes you need a bunch of good friends and a polite sit in at your favorite coffee joint.
Cafés are only made homely when coupled with mood lighting, an obscure location and accompanied by designer coffee and/or tea. So, when in search of that nostalgia joint ready and in the midst of conquest… of the universe or what not, find your way to Tujoh in section 17 Petaling Jaya. The locale is quaint, the coffee and tea piping hot and finally there is a drop down menu of all your favorite breakfast treats and Italian home cooking classics.
I have been there several times and am always in the mood for an Americano (with milk on the side), whenever I am in town.
There are many places to get designer coffee, outside of any franchise outlet, but Tujoh does speak of Seven Heaven, because coincidentally that is the price of a continental sized cup of your favorite brew. But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Coffee is not just a past time, to be enjoyed with friends over conversation about the mysteries of God and the Universe. Coffee and/or tea are also a desert item around these parts.
If you are not at that point in your life where you begin to question your life and all that matters on Mother Nature’s green earth, then consider one of their breakfast or lunch items. Personally, I make sure to make it in time — ahead of the breakfast crowd, as they open their doors at 11 am — for their infamous Eggs Benedict with Salmon and a Garden Salad. The coffee, which comes next, is simply arbitrary.
