The Next Big Thing(In Travel)

A lot has transpired in the world over the last couple of year, the biggest set back to travel has no-doubtedly been the Covid-19 Virus. But with certain countries, now fully vaccinated, alarm bells are on the low, with certain countries now regarding the illness as nothing more than just a common flu. Bottom line, we are fast becoming immune to this disease. Nothing more to discuss after this, except that over a year ago Malaysia has open their business and economic sectors, citing that the flu like ailment is well under containment, with just the one fatality reported in July 2022.

As for travel, perhaps Brexit and the Euro can allow people to travel across Europe with ease and ideals set in place. Of course this is not the year 2020 anymore, and with social issues, outside of economic ones, again Brexit in the UK is bound to leave some ugly repercussions. So, again tact and a little bit of manners, just like how the British would prefer in the days long lost to their solidarity.

With more than prevalent issues now on the rise surrounding a post Brexit after world, travel may not be the best idea. With the potential loss of rights in both economic and public sectors, an increase in hate crime and an obvious shift towards conservative views, snooty-ole-England’s latest cultural revolution seems to now be in full swing. Immigration and labor market dilution will also be impacted and the potential for further dilution of equalities are all on the table for discussion.

The next big thing in travel seems to be all to much like more bad news. An interesting anecdote to add is that the English football team have never been so well represented, and by a team of gents as well. The only thing; is what if they win. Surely some lines must be drawn. The sanctity of the UK rests in this very powerful image represented of three bold lions.

The mistakes of the past may very well not replicated but what of labour? The true to the core salt of the earth English people. Again, I stand by no view, but if it is to disrupt tourism in Malaysia perhaps then it would not be too bad a thing for local economic proceedings in either case. #havehomenotravel #inpoortaste
