We like long walks on the beach

It was once fabled that 30,000 islands surround the coast of Indonesia, but recent studies have illustrated considerably less geological findings. Closer to 18,000 islands reside off the shore of its officially titled republic of Indonesia.

This may deter you at first, but consider some of the more attractive destinations, for holidays on your horizon. We here at GOeureka like our vacations with a little bit of spice, for a loner like me take a stroll down some of the supplementary prescriptions, Birkenstocks in hand, and for the lost romantics, not that I consider myself exclusive of this class of peoples, but the shoreline is an everyday escape for couples, hand in hand.

The loneliness is suffocating, which is why we mention this shortlist of enchanted getaways, with 18,000 to choose from, it would be no lie that the locals have already mapped out the best pathways for the best of us hopeless romantics.

Here they are, the shortlist, in no particular order and broken up in key categories: -

As listed on Google searches directory of places to visit in Indonesia Republic are the aforementioned island states. However, the tourist prescription is always the set path; I personally have not been able to afford the time to truly explore the possibilities of retreating to one of these islands, but with 18,000 islands for so many lonely souls, how could we?

The list above is a drop down menu of possibilities, where each of these categories are further subdivided into smaller islands, all under the umbrella of each category of islands states, appropriated as the Indonesian archipelago and formerly known as the Indian archipelago, it is simply engaging at the very least.

We have heard stories of such grandiose escapes and it is in fact here that you begin to find the haven for any paradise lost to the stars. The questions are looming.

“How do we get there and what is it that I am looking for?”

For a dreamer, this may be something you need to ask, before you begin your grand escapade through the white powdery flaked sands of the each of these minor islands within the broad landscape of the above seven listed major islands, and further then in each subset.
