What is travel writer writer’s block, really?

What happens when you travel allowance starts to diminish before the end of the month? Well, one thing you don’t do is go to your favorite steak house, all the while curbing a cigarette habit, to have your favorite sirloin cooked medium rare and with all the trimmings… the mustard sauce is a killer though.

Funny thing is cigarettes were never bad for people until prudence became the bedfellow of all things fiscal. Yes, they kill… mostly the wallet. It does get thinner. Perhaps, an early solution for the most immediate dilemma. Cut back on non-essentials and you will in fact be able to afford that Medium rare tender sirloin after all.

Okay so I have RM350 more a month now to sate my appetite for big living and the more of that dross practice of living and writing about it. Again, I am skint entering the last few days of this month. What is writer’s block for a travel writer? Well, it is a monetary problem… just like cigarettes.

Funny thing is, as I relegate tobacco products, to height of the latest in fresh morning daisy type appeals, I find that red meat is also not the answer when attempting to squeeze in all the benefits of living(eating and drinking) to my hearts content. Well, back to the drawing board and a long holiday graduating from my 5 year escapade with the sublime artistic impressions of the world of travel and living. Yes, I will start… maybe this time with a little more exercise intended.
